The GCSE Information Technology course provides pupils with an introduction to the role of computers and information systems in business and is suitable for any student from 9 years upwards (younger children can be considered). The course teaches both the practical and theoretical aspects of Information Technology. The coursework consists of two controlled assessments which provides 60% of the overall mark.
